About Jackdaw

Jackdaw were formed from a group of colleagues and friends during 2020 lockdown. Some of us have been playing together for years, and some are newer additions to the group. Milly and Ridwan first became friends through music almost a decade ago, and have played at many venues in and around Cambridge (and are now married!). We are very excited to welcome our drummer Kieran, who joined us in June 2023 and has added proper acoustic drums to our sound. It takes all sorts to make a Jackdaw.
